25th Annual SFU Highland Summer 7’s Rugby Tournament

It’s been 25 years since we began our wee little tournament on the hill and we would like you to join us up at SFU to usher in the next 25 years. As always the Highland Summer 7's Tournament will provide highly competitive rugby and an excellent social venue. In celebration of our 25th anniversary this year promises to be our grandest tournament yet. As well, teams will have the pleasure of playing on the first official IRB approved all weather turf field (please bring your multis and your cleats).

In anticipation of the always-hot sun, we will again be having a BBQ and cold beverage garden. As usual, great SFU Rugby Tees will be available! Based on the poll we conducted last month there will be three divisions:

• Men's Premier Division $250 per team
• Women’s Division $200 per team
• Men's Social Division $200 per team

Trophies will be awarded to the top finishers in all divisions. The teams will be divided into pools, with the top two teams from each pool advancing to play off in a
single knock-out elimination round. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of three games.

As in past years, we expect each of the divisions to fill up quickly, therefore, in order to avoid disappointment, please register your team as soon as possible.

PREMIER TEAMS MUST SUBMIT A ROSTER OF PLAYERS PLAYING IN THE TOURNAMENT.

The registration deadline is June 30th 2007.
